My Bucket List
Things I want to do before I die. Some are more age specific than others, but all are things I’d like to do eventually. I read somewhere that you’re supposed to make the list for the age you are on each birthday, and replace the ones you’ve accomplished with new ones, so here are my 23 life goals, big and small.
- Get something I’ve written published
- Finish writing a novel
- Learn Portuguese
- Go to Italy
- Go to Hawaii
- Go to Portugal
- Go to Spain
- Go to Israel
- Go to Egypt
- Work on a war film
- Work on a period piece
- Make a photography portfolio
- Fall madly in love with wild abandon
Take a road trip up the coast- Lose weight (ultimate goal: 150lbs)
Volunteer with the USO (Soldier’s Angels)- Get better about responding to people (at least once a week!)
- Learn how to drive a stick shift
- Learn to surf
- Take a completely impromptu road trip to anywhere. Rent a convertible for it.
- Own another Firebird (1969 or 1998 TransAm)
- Pick up the guitar again
- Make a list of all the actors I’ve worked with (and DPs and Directors)
- Make a list of everything I want in a house one day
- Take my Mom to Italy
- Learn to cook like cooking
- Really pick up drawing
- Have a dark room in my house (probably a converted bathroom)
- Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Times Square, New York
- Continue building the photography portfolio
- Join the Local 600
- Lose the weight
- Buy more photography gear
- Learn to dance
Awesome blog. It will be cool for both of us, when you can scratch “Taking mom to Italy” off your list1 Ha!Ha!
